To make this victory a vehicle for real change Americans need to put aside their differences and they need to moderate their demands for immediate results and their strong desire to have things their way. I agree with you whole-heartedly on the subject of why the U.S. should treat other countries with respect. The U.S. pardons whoever they choose. What about the Oklahoma bombings? We hear more about O'J than we do the "terrorists" who killed our babies and reside right here in America. They put one person to death and gave the other some prison time for killing hundreds of Americans. Why didn't they go after the other terrorists who aided Timothy Mc Veigh and Terry Nichols. On the other hand, they felt justified in invading Iraq; killing Sadam and all his sons and thousands of our troops. For what? Nobody has killed any of them for their crimes on Native Americans and African Americans? The U.S. had/has a deceitful motive for invading Iraq. Maybe Sadam knew too much... I am so glad Obama is our new President! I hope I don't sound too bitter... My mom loved all of us. But the Crawford's were always special to her. I could always tell when my mother was disappointed with her children and grand's... because she would grab her phone book and start calling her sib's... and nieces and nephews. It was as if she took solace in you all. It was a Blessing to share her with family because that was who she was a gentle "family-woman." I encourage all people to vote, and to vote early to allow an opportunity to correct any voting irregularities that may occur. Also, I want to encourage folks to take a close look at Amendment #2.
